Why so many squirrels at The Capitol Theatre?
When The Capitol Theatre was built in 1926, Thomas Lamb (the architect) included over 200 depictions of squirrels within the molding throughout the theatre. Why? We are not sure. We have adopted the squirrel as our 'unofficial mascot'. Next time you come to a show see how many squirrels you can count!
